Sailing and Snorkeling

Sailing and Snorkeling

While sailing and snorkeling, one's soul cannot help to succumb to the majestic scenery and the power of the ocean and mentally letting-go automatically leads to a deeper awareness of spirit and a clarification of personal perspectives.

Three of the most popular sailboats are catamarans anchored inside Tamarindo Bay are the Blue Dolphin, Marlin Del Rey, and in Flamingo the Seabird. All offer spacious and immaculate boats with your choice of shade or sun for seating, trampolines for lounging, on board restrooms and fresh water showers.

Their sailing trips include food, open bar, snorkeling equipment, guides, sea kayaks, and everything you need. You will also receive T-shirts to take homefrom your vacation in Costa Rica. Be sure and bring a bathing suit, sunglasses and sun block for your skin.

Snorkeling Conditions

The Pacific-side of Costa Rica is not known for great snorkeling, as in the Caribbean. However, sometimes conditions are right and snorkelers are treated to an abundance of fish, like when the waves are calm and there hasn't been any rain in awhile. For the best snorkeling, I combine it with a Sunset Cruise on a catamaran, and let the Capitan use his judgement as to where to find the best snorkeling; it's part of his job. The cruises have food, snorkeling gear, in-water guides, etc.
